Amallyn Shadowguide is an Asuryani Ranger from the shattered craftworld of Biel-Tan. She joined a band of explorers chasing a newly appeared Blackstone Fortress, hoping its strange technology could restore her dying home.
Who she is
Amallyn is a Craftworld Eldar Ranger, which means she’s one of the lone scouts who wander the galaxy ahead of the main Asuryani forces. She hails from Biel-Tan, a craftworld that was broken apart in the 41st millennium.
She’s spent centuries travelling the webway, and that long experience is exactly what makes her useful to a mixed group of explorers. Rangers like her don’t fight in neat battle lines. They stalk, snipe, and read the terrain before anyone else commits.
Why she matters
For Amallyn, the Blackstone Fortress isn’t just a payday. It’s a possible way to make Biel-Tan whole again. That personal stake puts her in the same room as Rogue Trader Janus Draik and his crew, and it’s why she sticks with them through some very bad situations.
She later helped Draik’s entourage stop the rogue weapon Isha’s Lament aboard the Precipice, then vanished once the weapon was deactivated. That exit fits her: she shows up when it counts and disappears before anyone can ask too many questions.
Where you’ll find her
Amallyn debuted as a playable character in Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress. She also turns up in the novella Isha’s Lament, and her miniature and art have shown up in White Dwarf and Warhammer Art releases.
If you’re building a Biel-Tan force or just like the Ranger archetype, she’s one of the few named Asuryani Rangers with a real story attached. Most of her kin are anonymous by design, which is exactly why she stands out.
