Leontus grew up surrounded by wealth and attended the Imperium’s best military academies, so his martial and political skills were sharpened early. By the start of the Indomitus Crusade and the Dark Imperium era, he was one of only three of the five Imperial Guard Lord Commanders still in contact with the wider Imperium, and arguably the most embattled of them.
