The War Walker is a light, two-legged Aeldari war machine built for scouting and hit-and-run firepower. It’s the smallest of the Craftworlds’ walking vehicles, and it trades armour for speed, stealth fields, and a pair of heavy guns.
What the War Walker actually is
It’s a bipedal heavy-weapons platform about three metres tall, piloted by a single Guardian. The Aeldari name for it, Offifascurath, translates roughly as Striding Warrior.
The pilot merges with the machine’s wraithbone core, slipping into a meditative state to move as one with it. For many Eldar, this is their first step toward becoming the steersman of a Titan.
How it fights
War Walkers go first. They range ahead of the main warhost to find enemy positions, then switch to suppressive fire once the shooting starts. A full squadron can wipe out an enemy platoon in a single volley.
They’re deployed in squadrons of one to three. After the vanguard work is done, they’re often called back to the static core of the host, joining Support Weapon Platforms, Dark Reapers, and even Titans. The Asuryani call that massed fire the Murehketh Bein Hekhita, or the Sting of Grief.
Because they’re lightly built, they rely on ranged weapons to take out threats by priority. Get too close and the pilot can still lash out with the machine’s powerful legs as a last resort.
Weapons and protection
Each War Walker carries a pair of heavy weapons, which gives it the flexibility to fill several roles. The lack of armour keeps it mobile, but the pilot isn’t naked: shimmering force fields blur and distort the machine’s outline, offering protection on par with a fully enclosed vehicle.

Where else you’ll see them
Eldar Corsairs use War Walkers in their raids too, drawn by the same mix of mobility and heavy firepower. They also field a variant called the Wasp Assault Walker.
